Gardening Tips

Landscape design should make the most of your environment any time of the year, making it inviting and soothing.  A place where you enjoy being to read a book or entertain.  It is makes the outside an extension of your home and is where your guests receive their first impression, setting the mood for their time with you.

For more information on how to make the most of your property call Glen at (707) 928-9806 or email us here at info@froghollow.biz.  He has tips for drought and deer resistant plants, adding color all year, and other landscpaing and irrigation system questions.

Given today's economy having a vegetable garden will save you money while providing fresher and better tasting foods, better then what you get in the stores.  Fruit trees planted this year will yield a few fruits next year and more in the years to come.  For those of you who insist on organice produce what better way to know no chemicals were used then in your own garden?

The City Dweller should not worry about having enough space for fruit trees and vegetables as these can be planted in large pots or 1/2 wine barrels on small patios, porches and decks.  Blueberry bushes will also thrive and yield lucious fruit full of antioxidants.  So get busy, use your imagination and enjoy!
